Cross-boundary Public Services - Submission of Profits Tax Return

Any persons who are personal eTAX Account holders and authorized to sign Profits Tax return (for example: director, secretary and etc.) can use this service

Submission method
- Use the “Uploading of Data Files for Required Forms and Supporting Documents to Profits Tax Return” and “Completion of Profits Tax Return” services in eTAX to upload required supplementary forms (for example: BIRS1 and etc.)/ other forms (for example: IR1478 and etc.)/ financial statements/ tax computation in advance
- Then click on the button under “Quick Links” for using the “Submission of Profits Tax Return” service in eTAX
- The return filer should use the eTAX Password, MyGovHK Password, personal digital certificate issued by a recognized certification authority or “iAM Smart” account with digital signing function to sign the return

An acknowledgement with Transaction Reference Number will be shown on the computer screen immediately after the Profits Tax return has been successfully filed through the Internet. If the return filer needs the IRD to send a copy of the acknowledgement to other persons, he/she may provide the email address in the step of “Sign and Submit” before submission of the return
