- Hong Kong elderly persons with care needs ascertained in the Standardised Care Need Assessment Mechanism for Elderly Services can apply for the services concerned in accordance with their assessment results.
- Applicants should be aged 65 or above. Persons aged between 60 and 64 may apply if there is a proven need of residential care service.
- Hong Kong elderly persons who have settled down in the Mainland and are interested in joining the Scheme may contact their favoured Recognised Service Provider (RSP) or the New Home Association Limited to apply for joining the Scheme in their living place. They will follow up and arrange the assessment.
