The Digital Policy Office of the HKSAR Government (HKSARG) and the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Data signed the Memorandum of Understanding between Shanghai and Hong Kong on Digital Economy Co-operation in 2025, jointly taking forward the cross-boundary public services for the convenience and benefit of the public and businesses.
This online service zone is the first stage of initiative taken forward by the HKSARG to advance cooperation in CBPS with Shanghai. It provides information related to CBPS applicable to Shanghai, encompassing service areas commonly used by enterprises and citizens, enabling those in Shanghai to conveniently obtain related application information and access the services.
